Would you like to compose your own Kolibri Bouquet with the Reed Basket or Cotton Basket? The separately available inlays with water reservoir and WaterWicks are indispensable for this. You can choose from three different kinds of inlays to compose a Mono, Field or Jungle Bouquet. When you purchase a separate inlay, you will also receive the WaterWicks. The inlays have a diameter of about 25 centimetres. The Field inlay can be filled with one Kolibri Orchid of 12 centimetres, two Kolibri Orchids of 9 centimetres and three Kolibri Greens of 6 centimetres. How does the Kolibri Bouquet work? Step 1 Fill the water reservoir up to the indicated line with water. Be careful not to let the water get above this line, otherwise the roots of the orchid will be in the water. The plant does not like this. Step 2 Push the WaterWicks into the bottom of the growing pot until the stick has disappeared completely. Step 3 Ensure that the WaterWicks are well under water. The WaterWicks allow the plants to supply themselves with water. After placing the orchids in the inlay, you can place them in the Reed Basket or Cotton Basket. Step 4 Check the water level in the water reservoir once a week by removing the reservoir from the bowl. Refill water through the centre of the inlay if necessary.
