This bark, developed especially for orchids, meets all the specific requirements that this plant requires of its substrate. Since the orchid grows with its roots in the air and gets its nutrition from there, the substrate must be airy. Moreover, the water must be able to drain off properly so that no root rot occurs!
How do I repot my orchid?
Remove the orchid from the plastic pot
Cut away the rotten roots (they are black in colour)
Submerge the orchid in tepid water and place it in the new pot
Sprinkle the new bark in the pot and press it down gently
